A HR staff was terminated from her previous job, she claimed that her boss want to save cost because there is no more new fund invest to the dot com company. How could I handle this applicant?

A HR staff was terminated from her previous job, she claimed that her boss want to save cost because there is no more new fund invest to the dot com company. How could I handle this applicant?

Sounds like the truth, as many dotcom companies are in trouble. If she was at the dot com just a short period of time, check the prior employer, length of time there and try to speak to her supervisor. Could have been a combination of her jumping and bad judgement and the dot com's pending demise.
