I have been asked to redesign my company's employee application and am trying to compile useful questions or concerns to put on it. We will be reformatting our policies to include drug testing and background checks. any suggestions or ideas are very much appreciated. The company is small (less than 50) but looking for competent, expereinced employees.

Be sure to check what you are legally allowed to ask on an application. Also if you are using background checks, make sure that they actually apply to the work you are asking them to do. Tread carefully here, it sounds like you may end up in a legal mess.
