I am going to search nationally for two jobs and need all the avenues and exposure I can get. I know there are several websites such as monster.com for posting jobs. Looking for advice on what sites were best for you in getting results. Which are the most respected. Price etc. We are in the custom woodworking business. Any geared to certain industries? Let me know what your opinion are. Thanks.

First piece of advice in online recruiting is that you can simply post a job and wait for resumes to flow in. It isn't working like that. Most job seekers know that, in this economy, they can post their resumes and employers will come to them.

And that's what you have to do. Go to the article on workforce about online recruiting that's there today, and you can run searches for what you're looking for on geocities, altavista and other engines with investing a dime.
Compared to what you'd pay for monster.com or hotjobs, this is a true - and worthwhile - bargain.

For the price I have found career exchange to be useful. I am not sure if my company bought a package or not. But it only costs us around $40 for one posting that lasts for thirty days.

It really depends on the positions you're trying to fill. A great website in the medical field is Medzilla.com. It's pretty inexpensive, somewhere aroud $300 per month for unlimited posting. I believe the site also offers a resume search. You need to target your audience.

I think that do to the nature of your business, Monster.com is the best recruiting tool for you. It has a national following, and is definitely more well known to tradesman and IT professionals. Good luck!
