If you recieve the same resume more than once from different agencies, how long do the agencies "own" the candidate?

If you recieve the same resume more than once from different agencies, how long do the agencies "own" the candidate?

depends on your contract with the agency. typically the agreements state that the "ownership" lasts for a year from the last date of contact or discussion about a particular candidate. These clauses to hold up in court, since it is viewed as "theft" of fees.
