Good Morning,
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to use industry-related associations, newsgroups and discussion groups to source candidates online? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am new to this type of sourcing.

Try this sourcing tool (yourstaffingteam.com). It'll do all the internet sourcing for you. All you have to do is interview. They're also giving away a free applicant tracking system.

Industry sites can be very useful for your recruiting needs. Quite often, you'll find targeted niche job/resume boards, forums, opportunites for advertising and more.

Some places that will give you direct access to industry associations include:

American Association of Association Executives Directory Search

Industry Link

Another way to take advantage of industry associations is to ask your current employees/candidates what services/associations they use. Are there regional associations available as well? A newsletter in which you can write an article? etc.etc.etc.

respected sir,
iam doing ma(personnel management&industrial relations) in madras school of social work.as a part of our curriculum every student has to do research in hr topics. as such i have selected a study on online recruitment .so i have to do research on this topic.so i want to know what is it &how it is done. so please help me
