I have been asked to prepare a recruiting plan for our IT Consulting Firm, and I am looking for some resources to help me, specifically, any examples of recruiting plans. Does anyone have something they can share, or a place I can look. Thanks, for the help.

Maybe I'm being simple-minded, but a recruiting plan generally is a blueprint of what your recruiting activity is going to look like for a specific time period. This includes things like- projected need for recruiting. Got to knwo what you're fishing for inorder to choose the boat.Then the how's and where's of findign them - where you're going to advertize, events you'll be attending to recruit, other strategies (internet sourcing,tv/radio ads, ads aimed specifically at diversity candidates,etc). And finally, identify the costs associated with these activities. You can make it as fancy or as simple as you need it to be,but in essence that's what goes into one.

Some things to consider when putting together a recruiting plan are:

1.) Budget
2.) Needs the recruiting will solve
3.) Time frame
4.) Who does what, when
