Id be careful about using the well keep your resume on file verbiage. Most employment law attorneys advise us to close out an open req. when the position is filled along with all applicants considered. It seems that there was a case a few years back where and applicant successfully sued and employer for not considering him/her for a position similar to one applied for a few months earlier. The employer had used the well keep your resume on file wording, which opened the door to litigation. This was probably an isolated case, but no sense in painting a bulls eye your company.
