Bob Gately's response was priceless. "What's the problem?". So often we go off running on a 'project' without examining the WHY and WHAT or determine what the expected results should be! There is no shortage of information written about on-boarding. What should be unique for your organization, however, is the WHY and WHAT that needs to be addressed and solved. If there is no problem, why do it? Unless you have the Why, What and Expected Results, you can't track the success. Unless you can track the success, there is no point in doing it. Answer the questions or shelve the project.

We Just implemented a new onboarding starter kit and a site where all the info is housed . As soon as the employee accept the offer we will give them a number and all the materials could be downloaded and information is also sent to get computers etc. It is an automated process. We also with workflow technology the e offer is all filled electronic with drop down boxes etc. It is customized to all the sites.
