myStaffingPro has an applicant tracking system for just $100 a month. Chances are that you would spend thousands of dollars in wages overcoming the "learning curve" of setting up a system on your own.

Our organization uses a tool called Hirebridge. Depending on your functional requirements you may be able to have it installed and running for less than 15k. I know you have concerns regarding budget, but in many cases it will save you money and time spent on modification and maintenence. There are many other comparable tools in the sector that are relatively inexpensive, and it should really be considered an investment. |

Our company is in the same situation as well, no money for an ATS, but in great need of building one in Excel. Any information would be greatly appreciated if this help is still available.
