I was hoping to get some input on the best Cost of Living indexes out there. I have been to quite a few different sites and get mixed answers on differences between cities. One website will list a 9%

Cost of Living Index

I was hoping to get some input on the best Cost of Living indexes out there. I have been to quite a few different sites and get mixed answers on differences between cities. One website will list a 9% higher cost of living adjustment while the same parameters on another site will give me a -4% cost of living adjustment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I actually have very similar Question..
I am trying to find out: What is the cost of living adjustment in the state California?
Information on the net is all over - It is hard to figure out. I know this is information is released by CA Govt. Agency - But I just cannot find it !

Any help is appreciated !

You should be able to find some information on this on moving.com under the real estate section (city profiles).

For detailed information, one of the standard resources is Runzheimer. The website is runzheimer.com
