We are an employment agency, and I just wanted to get some feedback on any other agencies out there that when they establish a new account, and a criminal background check is needed for each candidate

We are an employment agency, and I just wanted to get some feedback on any other agencies out there that when they establish a new account, and a criminal background check is needed for each candidate that is hired, who should take the charge of the background check? The client or the agency. What do you guys do?

The way I see it if a job candidate has no
criminal background they are not going to
wish to pay and anyone with a criminal background will not apply when they see that
requirement anyway. I think your client
employer/s should be the ones paying or
build it into the price of your fees.
