If you look at software industry from the size of the organisation, for small size (below 1000) the attrition rate is varying anywhere around 30%. Mid size (below 10000)is the sweat target for the large size and small size company leader positions, so they are experiencing around 15-20%. Large cap (above 10000) companies becasue of the base and the advantage of global workforce experiencing around 8-10%. This holds more relevant for the Indian software industry which is the driving force behind global software industry.
