Hello,

We are an aviation company and I am the HR coordinator and we have quite a few Contract Pilots and Flight Attendants.

I know I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification Form) is a must for compnay employees, Should we also do I-9 for Contract employees?

We do not want to get any trouble with I-9 audit, hence the question.

Please advice me if you have any idea about it. In advance Thank you very much for your response.

Thank you

This is the handbook. As long as your contracted employees meet the definition of an independent contractor or a leased employee, you do not need an I-9.
