Let me preface, I'm new to HR! We need to hire a contactor, a lab tech, for one month. How do I establish a pay rate? We'll be hiring direct, not through a staffing agency. I went to Indeed.com, that was helpful but I'd like to have other reliable resources to compare as well. Suggestions, please!

Another free source that can assist you is Salary.com. Use your zip code and compare the job descriptions to see if there is a reasonable match.
