I'm considering using "itzbig" for our recruiting needs. Has anyone on the forum used this service? If yes, what was your experience?

I've taken a look at the website. Doesn't appear to be worthwhile and, given the pricing, probably not much less than the big boards and certainly more than niche jobsites. Besides, it's new. Not many people know about it like they do CB or Monster.
I suspect your post was a cheezy spam. If it wasn't, then I think you'd be wasting time and money with this site. |

In my experience the power of a recruiting service is the size of its candidate pool. Even great skill matching algorithms will not help an employer if there are 100 or 200 candidates registered on a site, versus the thousands on the big boards mentioned above. Of course I am not in Texas or California, where itzbig says it is operational, but I have never heard of that site until now. At least I learned something from the exercise of looking them up! Anyway, it doesn't look promising to me, unless you were doing general hiring in large quantities, like 20 office assistants at once. But then any board would be fine to use. |

Web 2.0 recruiting sites are where you should be looking. Monster and CareerBuilder are great markeing companies, but they do not deliver the ROI that people once thought they did. Itzbig has seemed to box themselves into a corner with no way out. Look at Linkedin.com, JobFox.com and Xing.com. There is another site that hasn't launched yet called InResume.com. I hear it will be the next big career portal. |

I know that I'm not objective about this , but take a look at our new platform, now in beta - www.scopings.com
