Welcome Kit
Exchange ideas about sourcing, screening, interviewing, finding passive candidates, measuring your results, and more.
I have a task to develop the welcome kit for our HR department and I thought having your ideas will be extremely good. Please help me by putting your thoughts & experience

Our New Employee Orientation includes a nice three-ring binder with the new employee's name on the front - inside information is divided by tabbed pages and includes Employee Handbook, Health Info, other company info. The new employee is met upon their arrival at the front door and, in advance, advised where to park. We also give each new employee a white, button-down collar shirt with our logo. An employee's first day is spent with HR and Security personnel (IT and premise security). HR and their supervisor take the new employee out to lunch the first day and the second day the supervisor and the new employee go out to lunch - on the company. We also orient the new employee to the building - in many cases, though, the new employee is working elsewhere. In that case, the supervisor meets and greets in the morning at their location.
