Adding hotjobs to your list which already includes monster and CareerBuilder would be, in my opinion, overkill and expensive overkill at that. People who put their resumes on Monster and CB will tend to post to other major boards as well, so its quite possible that you won't see any additional benefit to hotjobs (note: nothing against hotjobs - its a fine board and their "parking slot" posting system is, again in my opinion, superior to the CB and Monster system).
I don't know what kind of employees you're looking for, but niche job sites catering to specific professions are quite abundant and a very fast growing sector of the job board industry. You can find a niche site for just about anything, and I've tended to have had a lot better luck with these sites than the major boards. Response rate might not be as great, but the responders tend to have backgrounds that are at least in the ballpark of what I'm looking for. And niche sites are a whole lot cheaper than the major boards - you can post for about $100 to many and resume database searches are either free or very inexpensive.

Hi- Not all jobseekers use all three major job boards, you could potentially be missing out on the right talent for your organization. Monster & CB don't have candidate targeting that is available with HJ media. You can target by location, occupation; even language.

I would also consider Social Networking Sites i.e. Linkedin, Trade Groups or Organizations i.e CPA Society,as well as, the niche boards i.e. jobsinthemoney.com.
We tend to find the more astute & savvy candidates on these sites and the fees are usually reasonable. In fact some organizations & speciality sites have actually provided us with 30 day free trials.
