Are any companies still providing recruitment packets, most of the information can now be found on the internet and we don't want to have a duplication of effort. At present, we are only giving out the benefits summary.

If you do provide a package, what do you include?

This sort of depends on your situation and the people you're recruiting. If you're recruiting scarce professionals (engineers, for example) who have multiple interviews/offers, you might consider giving them a recruiting packet full of bright shiny info about your company rather than relying on them to look it all up on the internet.

Or if you're trying to recruit people to move from Southern California to Wichita, Kansas - which I did for 2 years. Rather than rely on them to look up real estate prices on their own or info on school systems, we provided them with all that info in their recruiting packets. Still a tough sell, but it helped.
