What is the industry norm for comp in recruiting agencies? Base pay, base pay, plus commission or base pay with a draw? I am looking to work specifically in the field of higher education & advancement but want to be sure I understand various comp programs as I have always worked as an in-house recruiter. Would any of you agency recruiters be willing to share your comp schedule?

These forums are primarily visited by corporate HR people so not sure if you'll get a good answer to your question.

You might want to try ere.net. Thats all about both inhouse and third party recruiting and there are discussion boards/blogs there. You may have much better luck getting an answer to your question there.
