Last month we started with a new concept for all the training-activities within our organisation. We also want to support this new concept with IT-solutions.
We are thinking of transforming several trainings to electronic trainings via CD-ROM, Intranet etc.
We also want a webb-based system where we can track the progress of all the training-activities. We don't wanna use paper any longer. Employees should sign-up for a training from behind their desk/computer, all the communication should go by e-mail, etc.
Does anybody have any experience with these things? Or suggestions?

Well, depending on what type of training is involved, there are lots of providers of internet based training of all types. My company has a large selection of online training in a variety of topics that can be taken over the web, that are self paced and test the comprehension. So off the shelf might help you. If you are talking more like training that is customized to a curriculum specific to your company's activities, thats doable too, but you would need to contact a consulting firm that specialized in curriculum development and web based solutions. But it can certainly be done.

You mentioned in your message "off the shelf" products. Can you recommend any?
