I'm a US citizen doing a MSc in HR managment at Oxford. I'm doing my dissertation on the aquisition, retention, and empowerment of top creative and technical talent in high-tech firms (including computer/ internet and biotech). I'd like to arrange several 2 week research placements at different high-tech firms in America as well as interview various people in the industry when I'm in the US over the summer... Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to gain access to high-tech companies (in the form of a research placement or interviewing HR execs)?
