HRAdvantage Not a Good Choice For Us

I would hesitate purchasing any product from Spectrum. We purchased HRAdvantage for 200 employees and our Information Systems Department has been unable to install it correctly because of a conflict with Office 2000. Numerous calls to customer support has not solved the problem, although we have followed their instructions step-by-step, including uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2000 and running various utilities.

We have requested a refund, but it is apparent we are not getting one. I have also emailed Spectrum's President, Jim Spoor, about this problem. He did not answer the email, but instead referred my message to customer support.

This problem has been going on for about two months now. The time spent by our Information Systems department, plus the aggravation, and inconvenience is not worth purchasing this software.

The problems with Spectrum HRVantage have been resolved to our satisfaction. I do recommend this software and Mr. Spoor personally responded and went beyond normal customer service in ensuring that we were satisfied. We have installed the software, are in the process of data conversion, and my assistant and I are scheduled for training at Spectrum in Denver next month. I would be happy to answer any questions from anyone about HRVantage. lfroedge@scrtc.com
