Looking for hours tracking software
Discuss how to choose system that will yield the best results, as well as how to maintain it, and how to calculate its return on investment.
We're looking for hours tracking software that can identify the time when employee login to the network and the time they logout. We're using NT server 4.0. Thanks Lia

Hello.

Simplex offers WinSTAR with STARstation, an electronic timesheet and eForce with WebStation. There are over 135 branches in the US. If you would email back to me, I would be happy to provide you with a contact person at your local branch.

If you Go into User Manager for Domains, Then go under the policies menu. Then Choose Audit. Under there you will find an Audit Logon/Logoff Success/Failure Check Boxes. Check the Success Box and this will Show whenever a user Successfully Logs onto or off of the network, In the Event Viewer under the Security option. In the Event Viewer you can search it by user name also.

I work for a company that markets a logging product which will identify login/logoff times, and can also be used to mark time against individual projects for easy production of timesheets.

The product, PC Focus, tracks all of the applications being used and can provide management level reports as to how the company's PCs are being used (including Internet access)
