New Sales Position

I have just been promoted to an Account Executive for a pre-employment screening agency. I feel that the product I am selling is the best, I am not really sure how to get companies to see that I am truly trying to help them. I guess my question is what are a few important things that HR people look for when deciding upon a vendor?
