Can anyone tell me if they are using Electronic pay stubs, and if so how they were received by the staff.

This depends on the type of workforce you have, whether they have access at their desk, are they computer literate and what level, etc.
You also need to check with the state DOL/Wage and Hour regulations in each state in which you do business. Different states have different regulations as to whether this is even allowed in the state, and if so, what limitations and requirements must be met. Do you have a payroll specialist that can work on this for you? Good Luck. |

We implemented electronic paystubs a couple of years ago. At first there was some grumbling, but as in most changes, it was less than 10% of the workforce. We did have a little glitch at first because we couldn't print the paystubs out.
I think most employees are used to the idea now. And since many employees don't even check their paystub (scary thought), we've reduced the amount of paper we produce and waste. A key strategy that helped us in HR stay sane was the old "see one, do one, teach one" approach. If someone came to us asking how to access it, we showed them and then told them they were their department's expert and should help their co-workers. |
