Discuss how to choose system that will yield the best results, as well as how to maintain it, and how to calculate its return on investment.
I'm looking into an HRIS system for my HR Dept. to track all aspects of HR for approx. 300 employees. I've looked at many packages and am close to choosing People-Track HRIS system for its cost saving

I'm looking into an HRIS system for my HR Dept. to track all aspects of HR for approx. 300 employees. I've looked at many packages and am close to choosing People-Track HRIS system for its cost saving advantage. In addition to the sales pitch, I'd like other HR users opinions---Has anyone used it and if yes, what are the pros and cons of this software. Looking to make a decision soon.

Thanks-

Have you looked at NuView Systems and their MyHRIS product suite? What growth do you expect? Do you have other future needs, such as self-service, metrics/performance management, succession planning? Are you looking to buy or have this hosted? NuView offers a helpful white paper entitled "How to Choose an HR Vendor". Check out wwww.nuviewinc.com

PeopleTrak vs PeopleChoice was a decision I had to make about a year ago for servicing our Payroll Accounts. I chose PeopleCoice simply because it was robust, intitive to use and a product that we could offer as an economical solution to current and future clients. At 50 cents per employee per pay and integrated (two way or bi-directional) with our Payroll Service it simply could not be beat.
