What to look for in choosing a good Human Resources Information System for a large company

Hi Kjoseph,
I am unable to recommend a system, but certainly can tell you what one to avoid; Fidelity.
We are a corporation with over 30,000 employees, we implemented the system over 8 months ago and it is a NIGHTMARE. Their eworkplace and netbenefits systems are cumbersome, their customer service center is staffed by untrained, unknowledgeable individuals who do nothing more than say they will 'research' the problem, and although it is hyped as a webbased system we have to fill out paper forms for something as simple as correcting a typo. (Correcting a typo involves completing a paper form, sending it across the country for an upper level signature and then faxing it to Fidelity - only to wait as long as a week sometimes for the change/correction to be made.
I could go on and on and on.
I would be curious to know if others on these boards have the Fidelity system and what their experiences have been.
