Anybody familiar with this HRIS? We're considering buying this and welcome any feedback. Currently, we have a homegrown Access based HRIS and it stinks! We do not have ANY historical information - all data entered overrides the last - and it basically just tells you name,address, manager, title, pay, grade, hire date, birth day, term date and last performance score and %. Period. Done. Needless to say, we're looking for a comprehensive system that is of VALUE!

Just in case you are still considering Spectrum, I have used their HRVantage software since 1995. Our headcount has been as high as 600 and we have three people working in the system at any given time. This software is Access based which makes it very user friendly and easy to customize. Queries and reports are easy to do yourself or you can use one of many system reports provided. Spectrum's technical support is very knowledgable and my experience is that they answer my questions with one call. I have used their Client Services (fee based customization service) for more in-depth customizations and the end-result has always been just what I was looking for. Their software is on the pricey side, but you most definitely get what you pay for. I have been able keep my HR staff lean and mean in a time when the bottom-line is highly scrutinized. We also went from a system with no history to HRVantage and I'm always amazed at the efficiency with which I can provide detailed information. If you haven't already selected HRVantage (or IVantage), I strongly recommend that you do so now!
