ADP Enterprise V2 Training Module Implemention

Our company upgraded to ADP enterprise v2 about 2 years ago and we are just now starting to implement the training tracking piece of the performance and development module. ADP has learning activities categorized as either COURSES, INSTRUCTIONS or TASKS. It appears that their is some crossover and redundancies between COURSES and INSTRUCTIONS, and the supplied types do not fully distinguish how each should be used. We are attemting to define which of our in-house classes should be categorized as aCOURSE and which ones should be an INSTRUCTION, and breadth alone does not appear to be the way to go. Does anyone have experience with setting up the training piece and is the a logical distiguisher between the two?

I would be happy to share my experiences with setting up and using this module. We have been live with it in EV2 for almost 2 years. I have some documentation that I developed to help distinguish between the various types of Learning Activities and how to use the system to develop curriculum with them.
