We are a company with 250 employees. We have been using the ABRA product for 10 years. Over the years we have added several modules: attendance, recruiting, training. Now we are in desperate need to automate our timesheet process (still doing it by excel spreadsheets and lots of data entry). In addition, we are very interested in offering an employee/manager self service module. ABRA is the only HRMS I personally have ever worked on. Do I start fresh or continue to add on to ABRA? If I start fresh what fully-integrated HRMS do you recommend. Is ABRA good enough for a company of 250 - 500 ee's?

We used Abra for a Company of 1000's and it handled the volume. We had to invest in a good server to get Payroll processing time down.
We used Kronos to automate the time sheets. I know if we did not have Kronos, we would have written a program to uplaod the records to Abra. We wrote a program to add (updates etc)cafeteria deduction to the system.
We don't use Abra anymore, but at eh time is did a good job.
