Training period for Accountant/Business Mgr position

I've been asked to research if there is a standard time period that Accountants (at a senior level) would need to get up to speed in their positions.

These Accounting positions are often the Senior Accountant and/or the Business Manager for the organization.

Any ideas of where I might find some general information on that?
