Hello everyone!
I'm new to the field and have been given the rather complicated task of reorganizing/writing our current training manual in light of our recent database conversion. The old manual wasn't the most helpful of documents and I'd like to make it more using friendly (there aren't any table of contents, tabs, etc.) I'm look for a sample format to use or any advice/tips on how to organize the manual. I am also the person responsible for coordinating new employee training which will be happening 9n the next couple of weeks. We are an executive search firm and the manual really needs to be informative as to the entire process of a search. Thanks in advance for your help!

I am assuming you are a recruiting firm?
If this is the case I have to ask a couple of things before I can suggest what order to do your manual in?
First, are the recruiters or coordinators going to do solely recruiting or will they be involved in marketing as well. How do you have your organization set up? What types of computer systems or tracking systems do you have? What type of services do you provide?
I think first thing your manual has to describe is what your company is all about. What your nitch is? Who your target clients are? The structure of your organization? Termonology (Lingo) used in your organization? Systems in place (eg. communication, tracking, recruiting, etc...)
We could go on forever, but I hope this helps somewhat?
