Can anyone direct me to articles, books, etc., that discuss the problems associated with moving from being one of the crew to supervising the crew?

Hey There,

Just a thought, there is a website that I frequent that is called Smallbiz.com they specialize in all types of materials and allow you to print and access thousands of articles and book excerpts that will help you build your Supervisor Training. Trust me, I am working on a session using their articcles RIGHT NOW.

Good Luck!

I am currently in the process of developing modules for our Leadership Academy and have several websites in mind...salesdoctor.com, dartnell@dartnellcorp.com, queendom.com, salesandmarketing.com as well as the search engine dogpile.com. Great books include "The Managers Tool Kit" by Cy Charney, "The ASTD Training & Development Handbook", "The Portable Coach" by Thomas Leonard "Leader as Coach" by Peterson and Hicks. Do you have any suggestions for Time Management?

I am funny with Time Management and really prefer a program much like Franklin Covey's "What Matter's Most". I appreciate their approach to a whole individual and making all aspects "fit". Just a thought....
