My company is putting on a seminar on conducting internal investigations. I would really like to increase the invite mailing list because this is a GREAT seminar with amazing speakers. But I don't know of any associations whose members are comprised of folks who do internal investigations. If anyone knows, I would be grateful for a point in the right direction. Thanks.

My advice is that you probably would want to consult an attorney whose practice focuses on employment law. He/she will be able to bring to the table those items of greatest interest that will control the liability associated with workplace investigations.
In my last position (I moved on, thank goodness), I had to conduct 17 investigations in a 6 month period, three of which resulted in terminations. We brought in an employment attorney, and, shortly thereafter, the activity that was causing the claimants to come forward started to diminish.
However, keep in mind that you do not want your supervisors conducting these investigations. These should be proprietary to HR. So, the purpose for bringing in an outside agent to provide some training would be to better define what issues, concerns, and complaints require escalation to HR.
