There has to be a better way!

Check out Conductor, which is a training and education tracking software. They have a free demo on their web site, www.Conductit.com.

We use an automated computer system that allows the supervisor acess to the training schedule and once they complete the training it updates in the computer. How large is your company.

We developed and use ExxTend Learning(TM) LMS for administering and tracking training. For more info, visit our website (www.overnitecbt.com) or e-mail me. Jennifer - OSI.

I would call GeoLearning. They offer numerous LMS solutions to help with this type of need.

I am also looking for a fairly low cost solution for the administration of education (I don't need a LMS we dont have the network infrastructure at present) . We need to track internal and external training participation linked, if possible, to training action plans identified through performance management. It would be great if could also record costs and conference leave taken. Does anyone have a lead for an Access database template or something similar we could adapt?

Thanks

There is training tracking software in beta version that is free for grabs. This is what we use at the university of winsconsin. It is very easy to learn and has a cool interface.
