I have a problem. Our company wants to start a formal self development program. The motto is "we educate ourselves" Some one who is an expert in a certain skill trains the others on it. I have been asked to evolve a training calender. How do I go about doing that? We are an IT company.

First, conduct a training needs survey.
Then, identify competencies.
