Their process and materials are excellent for identifying, creating and delivering effective ojt. It is a simple, practical and common sense approach. The tracking part is built in through sign-offs by trainers and trainees.

OJT often tends to be in an uncontrolled manner. It is important to be sure OJT deliverers present correct procedures and techniques and are not passing along bad habits and cutting corners. Certainly "Tricks of the Trade" can be taught here, but maintaining control of what is being presented is important. We have developed learning guides for major tasks that outline the needed cmajor or crtical steps for completion the task. The OJT instructor uses the guide to present the OJT and, when the performance is satisfactory, both the Instructor and student sign the guide and it is kept as a record of training.
