Due to recent organisational changes within the company for which I manage all training and development activities, our grading structure is in need of revision. The current structure was set up mostly for the benefit of our technical consultants and needs to be expanded to include all other non-technical staff. Can anyone advise on good resources relating to grading structures?

Why dont you set up a Technical Procedures then grade your employees according to how many Technical procedures one can master and then grade him/her accordingly.

Thanks for the suggestion but my challenge is to broaden our grading structure to include those who aren't technical. we have technical gradings but I was after some info relating to more general grading structures.
