I very been drafted to initiate a training and incentive program for my company. As a consumer electronics accessory company we want to develop an effective way to train sales people, managers and retail trainers on our products and offer an incentive program to prompt them to meet sales goals. Can anyone offer any advice on programs you have encountered or what does/doesn't work. I've been told creativitity is the key and that is not my strong suit.
Many thanks, Amy Topnick atopnick@recoton.com |

In terms of an easy to use/implement sales incentive program, you may want to check out Salesdriver.com It looks quite creative and well done even though we have never used it. If you need something more comprehensive, we are about to launch a web-based suite that allows you to set goals, put action plans in place track the completion of action plans (such as learning assignments) award points for completed/approved assignments and then use a simple scorecard to evaluate and provide feedback. Feel free to contact me, otherwise the easiest and most cost effective route may be the salesdriver.com offering.

Thanks for the advice. I have been working with Salesdriver.com for the past couple of days but there are a few issues that they can not overcome in our circumstances. Also, the prizes are from our key competitors in some cases. That certainly won't go over well! I would be interested in hearing more about the other program you mentioned, however.
Also, would you have any contacts for premium fullfillment houses? Thanks bunches, Amy Topnick atopnick@recoton.com |
