One of my sales managers wants to purchase Total Training Network (TTN) system of library of training CD's and wants my "blessing" so their request will have more weight with the person who approves.

Have you used/subscribed to this system? If so, what is your feedback? Looking for both negative and positive. Thanks.

My company purchased TTN two years ago and have been pleased with the program. There is a wide variety of courses - from Sales to HR to Marketing, Time Management, Communciations etc. My only resistance with the program is employee perceptions of some of the speakers (e.g. one sounded like a "Southern Preacher" which distracted the students). I always try to tell them to learn from the speaker's message and class discussion, not be distracted by the speaker's style. I would not advise purchase of this if you are going to use it solely for self-paced learning. I find it works best when used in a class environment where the dvd's can be paused and discussion can take place. Finally, the support staff at TTN is excellent - they keep in touch to see how our training is going and are always available for guidance and support. Hope this helps - JRE, Prince Frederick MD
