I am doing some research on basic skills training for employees (grammar, business writing, math, finance, etc.). I have been looking at best practice material but am not finding much. Is there anyone out there who can share your experience in developing a basic skills training program in your organization particularly where you have may have customer service represenatives and claims processors.
I manage a 4 person HRD training area for an organization with about 6000 employees. We do not have the internal resources to provide this ourselves. |

Although we don't use it where I am now, ManPower has a great online training tool called their Global Learning Center. I believe they do sell access to the site and you can select which pieces to offer your employees. It is all web-based.
It is quite extensive. |
