Hi All.
This is my first time posting a question, so sorry if has been asked before. I work in a big Multinational, where there is currently 3 training depts. I am studying T&D and my Final Year Project is to come up a proposal regarding having one Training Dept available to whole plant (with the 3 individual training depts continueing to work on their own specialised areas). Could anyone suggest the best way to approach this? I need to support this with litecture - could anyone suggest some useful readings. At present, some parts of the plant have not official training or induction. Thanks |

When thinking about what the overall training dept would look like and what would be its functions, you might want to look at the training management maturity model at http://www.businessperform.com/html/training_best_practice.html

Remember when merging any business or function what is important is to focus on the objective. Some useful frameworks include:
