Hi

I am in HRIS and just do reports and data maintenance and I am not seeing any growth here or learning anything new. I want to get into Org development. What do I need to move into to get into this field. ANy light on this would be appreciated

How about using the data from the reports and turning it into information? What are some of the KIPs (key indicators of performance) that are valuable to your organization? For example, turnover: where is it happening, how often, and then develop cost profiles for turnover. I'd develop 4 or 5 KIPs to start and then schedule time to show this information (no longer data) to your HR management. Now you're part of the solution. And look into some good OD courses at your local college and professional associations. Check out your local library. There are some great books that will at least give you some background in what OD really is.
