If you are outsourcing why would the location of the provider really matter (if it is in the US)?

I am in Boston and do not want to have to spend 90% of my time traveling to meet with outsourcing companies we may want to work with.

The sales reps will be quite happy to come to you. You'd only need to make a site visit once you had narrowed it down to two-three candidates.

That being said, I believe that all other things being equal (resources to provide an appropriate level of service) a firm more closely located to your company is preferable. It's easier to get face time to resolve issues that arise.

I'm the writer who asked for people to help me with an article about vision plans. I am also an expert researcher! At the bottom of this note is a link that will give you many companies in Massachusetts to which you may outsource your benefits. There are one standalone vision plan and one dental plan, along with other companies who have various combinations. Good luck. I would really appreciate hearing from you as to how things work out.
