My husband works for a construction company and there is no work. He is a full time employee with benefits. He has worked only 6 -10 hours in the last 3 weeks. The company has not laid him off. What should he do . What are his options? Should he/can he apply for partial unemployment benefits? He does not want to quit. He is not wanting to file for unemployment?

Yes, he should be able to file for partial unemployment benefits if he meets the requirements (employee where the employer paid in and he has worked enough time and made enough to do so). All they can say is no and even then he has the right to appeal.
