Our agency uses AFLAC as our third party administrator for our flexible spending medical and dependent care plans. We also allow our staff to purchase, at their own expense, various types of insurance through AFLAC. Lately we've had problems with delays in approved employee reimbursements from AFLAC, and we'd like to go with another company. Does anyone have suggestions on providers that give good customer service?

The good old "free" flex asministration from AFLAC. You should probably look to replace the insurance products that AFLAC is gouging your employees on as well.
I would first check with your medical insurance carrier to see if they have a partnership with a flex administrator since you might be able to lower your overall costs going this route (not that flex administration is overly expensive).
Other companies to consider: Ceridian, Blue Water Benefits and Infinisource are the first 3 that come to mind.

AFLAC is not a good choice. It's pricey and, as you are discovering, customer service is lacking.

My husband's company used Ceridian, and they are great. My company asked them to bid on ours (based on that experience) priced them out as a consideration, but it was to pricey. His company has since switched to PayFlex, and they are also easy to work with. My company went with PayChex, and let's just say you get what you pay for. If we hadn't invested the $$ in the set-up, we'd be looking to switch. But, since we'd then have to pay set-up again, we're stuck with them.

We use Pacific Benefits out of Sacramento. They have been very good for us.

Daily Q&A
How to Address Flagging Motivation?
How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
