In Response to Re: Veterans Day: They may be lower level jobs, but in this economy a job is a job. And if there's promotion potential and benefits, all the better. Posted by nork4 I think the real aim here should be to remember that we have a committment to affirmatively select Veterans ( and other underrepresented groups) when we have openings (assuming job qualifications are met). So often this is not pressed enough in the hiring decisions. |
