The Backlash of Lowering Hiring Standards

We (Workforce editors)were referring to the result of lowering hiring standards in general. This can include hiring people who have a less than stable work history, hiring people with questionable references, etc. In other words, those hires you make with your fingers crossed (see Angie's posting re: having a bad gut feeling). Sorry for the confusion - hope this answers your question.
