Career Counselor __please help

I am seeking a career change to return into managment after a successful tranisition into IT, and would like help on how to do it. I am not looking for help in finding a job but help in what type of resume to use.

I recently have three years expereince as a data base administrator/programmer with one of those as an HR specialist doing PeopleSoft. Prior to that I had seven years expereince in healthcare management. I left management for IS, but think IS management is a dead end to a career.

My question is how do I transition back? I do not want to go into IS management, but would like to return to administrative mangement.

I feel that being a power user of information technology would be welcome to any employer, because hey I can write my own code and solve problems with technology. I do not know what typeof managment to go back to and I am considering HR with 1 year of expereince.

Should I use a functional or chronological resume? Would anyone out there care to look at my two resumes and give comment? Send me an e:mail and I will send you my resume.
