We have new locations in California. Does anyone know where I can get a sample CAL OSHA basic plan. If you have one in Word I would appreciate a copy to ms@apartmentsearch.com Mike Smith D

Mike:

Visit the website: www.osha.gov and select osha programs. They have a technical manual available to prepare a safety plan, have a consultant to come in for free and survey your plan and site, and provide ergonomic information. Another good site is: www.dol.gov/elaws/hazard that provides a software program to evaluate your site for free. You just download it, answer the questions, and it will prepare a status report on how your site measures up.

California Chamber of Commerce is a good source for getting started. They publish a cal/osha reference manual. They can be reached at 800-331-8877
